SEND Teacher Talent Pool
Are you looking for a role in specialist provision?
Are you creative, nurturing and passionate about positively impacting children’s education?
Norfolk’s special schools already have a great reputation and deliver high quality education to their pupils. They also take great care of their workforce and provide high levels of support to their staff.
In Norfolk, we have an exciting 5-year expansion plan for our SEND provision. Not only do we have high quality provision in our existing SEND establishments we have also embarked on an exciting transformation project, which will seek to significantly increase the support available to children, families and schools in the county. It will increase the number of educational places available in both mainstream and specialist settings.
With our current specialist education provision and this new provision we will need outstanding teachers to work within these schools and be part of the Norfolk Area SEND vision, ‘listening to children, young people and their families… supporting inclusion, meeting needs and changing lives together”.
To assist in meeting this need we are setting up a SEND teacher talent pool to help you better secure a position and to help schools easily find the best talent.
Is SEND already your specialism, or do you have SEND experience and you feel ready to diversify? Or perhaps you’re a mainstream school teacher who feels like you want a different, or new, challenge? You don’t necessarily need to have SEND experience. Our specialist education provision can provide you with all you need to know and train you on the job.
