  • Option MSA duty for 2.5 hours per week @ £11.59 p/h

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide learning support a range of children within the school who will:

 ●     provide excellent support for the children

●     demonstrate good English and maths skills

●     enjoy working with children and be able to demonstrate the ability to form positive and supportive relationships with children and adults

●     be able to use initiative to support behavioural and learning needs

●     be flexible and able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team

●     be enthusiastic, demonstrate patience and have a sense of humour

●     seek to improve themselves in terms of skills, knowledge and experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 12.00, 1.00 - 3.30 and until 4.30 on Thursdays

Applicants should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be prepared to work creatively with children to positively progress their educational and personal development.

This is an exciting career opportunity for experienced support staff or a graduate who is seeking an opportunity to gain experience in a school setting as the beginning of their teaching career.

There is also an option for a Midday Supervisory Assistant role for 2.5 hours per week.
