Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our state of the art, newly built primary school.
Since 2019, Hethersett Woodside has grown to full primary status, from its roots as an infant school. Having moved into a brand new building, the school is now proud to include children from Nursery through to year 6.
We would like to appoint a SMSA who will lead our hard working team of Midday Supervisory Assistants at lunchtime. The successful candidate will coordinate staff rotas, lead short weekly meetings with the MSA team and liaise with our Assistant Head to make changes to ensure lunchtime is a positive experience for all children.
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- are keen to support embedding our School Values: Respect, Resilience, Responsibility
- have a passion for working with children
- enjoy working as a team and are able to lead others
- are able to use initiative and have a positive outlook
- are well organised and creative; able to problem solve
- have a sense of humour
In addition to the leadership role, the job includes supervising the children in the hall and also out on the playground throughout the lunchtime period. Experience of this type of role is helpful but not essential as training will be provided.
We welcome you to come and visit our school for an opportunity to look round and talk about the role in more detail. This can be arranged via the school office at: office@hethersettwoodside.org.uk or 01603 810674
We look forward to hearing from you!
