Our Academy is in a small village in a delightful rural setting. We converted to Academy Status in June 2016. The children are confident and engaging to work with. Our community is close knit with a very active Friends of the School group. With a relatively new leadership team, we are starting the next phase of our journey with vigour and enthusiasm. We are embedding our knowledge based curriculum and further developing our staff team.
You will need a good sense of humour and be a very flexible member of our small staff team. You will need to have good maths and English subject knowledge, be well organised and firm, but fun! We hope the post holder will be flexible to work across the Primary age range.
We can offer you a supportive environment with on-going CPD and a forward looking school. Applicants should state any experience they have, in teaching and any other work environment, their educational philosophy, what you could bring to the post and future aspirations.
PE experience would be an advantage but not essential. This post could be extended depending on budget for individual pupils.
You will need to work across Monday to Friday each week, and will be required to attend work during term time, plus an additional week to incorporate training days at the school.
