Do you have high expectations and enjoy working in a fantastic team?

Do you want to work with fabulous learners in a well equipped, state of the art new school?

Then we would like to hear from you….

Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint 2 committed, enthusiastic, positive Teaching Assistants to join our large team.

Hethersett Woodside has recently grown to full primary status, from its roots as a small infant school. Having recently moved into a brand new, state of the art building, the school has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to year 6.

This is a rare opportunity to join our fabulous team.

We would like to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants who will support in either Key Stage 1 or 2; working with individuals and groups of learners.

We encourage applications from candidates who:

  • are keen to support embedding our School Values: Respect, Resilience, Responsibility
  • have a passion for working with children
  • enjoy working as a team
  • are committed with very high standards of learning and behaviour
  • are well organised and able to use initiative
  • have good levels of written english and maths
  • have a sense of humour
  • Experience of supporting in a primary school would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given.

We can offer:

  • Learners who have great attitudes and thrive in our calm and welcoming environment
  • Excellent support from class teachers and Phase Leaders
  • Committed staff who form excellent relationships with every child in their class
  • A well-planned professional development offer for all our staff team
  • Opportunity to support in a Key Stage you prefer; with opportunity to gain experience supporting across the primary age range

We encourage you to come and visit our school for an opportunity to look around and talk to us about your passion and desire to join us.

Visits can be arranged via the school office: office@hethersettwoodside.org.uk  or 01603 810674

We look forward to meeting you!
