Your day may include supporting individual and small groups of pupils with their learning, encouraging children who may be struggling with their reading, helping the teaching team to prepare resources for future lessons or listening to those who may need help to talk through their emotions. The role may include 1:1 and whole-class teaching assistant support. We have three simple rules in our school, ‘Safe, Ready, Respectful’. They are at the core of everything we do. We expect it of our staff and pupils and help us to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all.

A current teaching assistant who joined us recently said:

“Since being welcomed into the QH family, I have been supported and inspired by the teaching staff. I have benefited from regular training specifically for support staff. I value working with a dedicated team, who are passionate about bringing the curriculum to life.”

Take a look at our website and social media channels to see if our passion for learning matches yours. If it does, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
