Browick Road Primary and Nursery School is a thriving and oversubscribed primary school in the heart of Wymondham.
Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking to appoint a part-time Caretaker to join our Premises team.
Skills required:
· Ability to achieve high standards in your work;
· Able to work well under pressure, with an attention to detail;
· A team player with a positive and professional ‘can do’ attitude;
· Flexibility to meet the needs of the school.
Duties:
· Play a major role in the school’s security measures, including being a keyholder;
· Be on call in the event of emergencies beyond regular working hours;
· Undertake routine building and site maintenance/repair work;
· Participate in the daily cleaning of the school;
· Handyperson duties;
· Supervise cleaning staff;
· Commit and contribute to the school’s strong safeguarding culture, including attending regular training.
