Hethersett Woodside has recently grown to full primary status, from its roots as a small infant school. Having moved into a brand new, state of the art building, the school has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to Year 6. Hours of work, 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week (less hours will be considered (please express this on your application form).
This is a rare opportunity to join our fabulous team.
We wish to appoint an HLTA to cover classes mainly across Key Stage 2 (Year groups 3 to 6). We are willing to consider applications from candidates who have experience of Cover Supervisor roles; and we may be able to support progression towards HLTA status in due course.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of teaching whole classes in Primary phase (ideally KS2)
- Have confidence and skills to effectively manage behaviour
- Demonstrate excellent English, maths and communication skills
- Be creative and flexible
- Have a proven record of using initiative effectively
- Be able to work as part of a team both within the classroom and the wider school team
- Be enthusiastic and hard working with a good sense of humour
