ABOUT US
The Sapientia Education Trust (SET) was established in 2016 with the purpose of bringing like-minded schools together to work in partnership to deliver a world class education to pupils in Norfolk and Suffolk. SET currently consists of 7 secondary schools and 10 primary schools, educating over 5,500 pupils. Our schools range in size from the largest state boarding school in the UK, to several very small, rural schools and we all share the belief that high quality education is broad ranging and embraces strong extra-curricular provision and an expectation that all pupils can and should achieve.
THE ROLE
The Trust seeks to appoint a Learning and Development Advisor to support the successful delivery of a Trust wide Training and Development strategy. The successful post holder will report directly to the HR Director but work collaboratively with other key stakeholders including Trust Central staff, headteachers and school staff.
We are looking for the following key traits of the incoming postholder:
Ability to work productively and manage training requirement trust wide
Able maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team; Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions; the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges
A CIPD or Organisational Learning and Development level five qualification
Experience in learning and development including knowledge of learning management systems
